Who we are

Lush Luminous Wellness

A small handmade beauty line based in Florida, selling online and at local markets. If you have a question about anything on this page, email hello@lushluminouswellness.com and a person will answer you.

What we collect

Only what an order needs

When you buy something we receive your name, email address, shipping address and what you ordered. That's it. If you email us, we obviously have your email and whatever you wrote in it.

We don't ask for your date of birth, your phone number, or anything about your health. If you tell us about your hair or skin in an email so we can help you pick a blend, that stays in the email — we don't build a profile from it.

Payments

We never see your card

Card payments are handled by Stripe, a payment company used by millions of shops. Your card number is typed on Stripe's page, not ours, and it never touches this website or any computer of ours. We only ever see that a payment succeeded, the last four digits, and the name on the order.

Stripe has its own privacy policy, which covers what they do with payment details: stripe.com/privacy.

Cookies & tracking

No advertising cookies, no trackers

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. There is no Facebook pixel, no Google Analytics, no third-party tracker watching what you look at.

The one thing we do store is your cart, saved in your own browser so your bottles are still there if you close the tab and come back. It lives on your device, never reaches us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Who else sees it

Three companies, each doing one job

Stripe processes the payment. The carrier (USPS or UPS, through Pirate Ship) gets your name and address so the parcel can be delivered. Netlify hosts this website and, like any web host, records basic request information such as IP addresses for security.

That's the whole list. We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone for marketing. If we're ever legally required to produce something, we'll comply, and we'll tell you unless we're forbidden to.

How long we keep it

As long as the paperwork needs

Order records are kept for seven years, because tax rules expect a small business to be able to show what it sold. Emails are kept while the conversation is useful and cleared out after that. If you ask us to delete your details, we'll delete everything we're allowed to and keep only the bare order record the tax rules require.

Your choices

Ask and it's done

Email hello@lushluminouswellness.com and you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct something that's wrong, or delete it. No form, no fee, and we'll reply within a few days. If you're in a state with its own privacy law, such as California, those rights apply to you here and you'll never be treated differently for using them.

We don't run a mailing list yet. If we start one, you'll only be on it because you asked, and every email will have an unsubscribe link that actually works.

Children

Not a shop for under-13s

This shop isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect anything from a child under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their details, email us and we'll delete them.

Changes

Dated at the top

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We won't quietly start collecting more than what's described here.
